Surface detractions on this rifle are negligible to minimal. Weight empty is 7 pounds, with the center of gravity at the center of the magazine well. QD swivel studs are replacement, but this rifle has both its original non-detachable swivels, as the photos show. Length of pull is the correct 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the Pre-325 recoil pad.
The Gershon brown recoil pad is one of Pachmayr’s founder components, and it was professionally installed by one of two Memphis Gunsmiths we can name during the 1950s. Construction is bright blue steel with cut checkered original factory Walnut stock. Both magazines are original to the rifle, both original Winchester, each holds 4 rounds of.
