Dr Samejo is very well informed with publications and editorial skills and experience, and has been editing research journals of Sindhi language and literature like "Kalich" research journal (in Sindhi) published by Mirza Kalich Beg Chair, "Sindhi Adab" (in Sindhi), "Sindhological Studies" (in English) by Institute of Sindhology and "Keenjhar" research journal by the Department of Sindhi, University of Sindh and Sindhi Boli research Journal by Sindhi Language authority, Hyd Sindh. Similarly he served as a Chairman Department of Sindhi, university of Sindh for three years. As a Director, he has served in the Institute of Sindhology and Mirza Kalich Beg Chair, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. Dr Samejo has extensive teaching, administrative and research experience of serving in the prominent public sector academic, literary, cultural historical and archival institutes in Sindh.
Currently, he is the Chairperson of Sindhi Language Authority, Government of Sindh. his PhD dissertation focuses on the Progressive Thought in Sindhi Poetry. Ishaq Samejo holds a PhD degree in Sindhi Language and Literature.
Ishaq Samejo is eminent writer, poet, critic, cultural activist and Professor of Sindhi language and literature.
